On Monday, HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia in Al-Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and means of developing and strengthening them.
The official delegation accompanying HH the Emir attended the meeting.
From the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Prince Mohamed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, a number of Princes and Ministers.
HH the Emir attended then a luncheon banquet hosted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in honour of the Emir and the accompanying delegation.
Later in the afternoon the Emir left Jeddah concluding his short visit to Saudi Arabia.
HH the Emir and accompanying delegation were seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, President of General Authority for Sport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohamed Abdul Malik al-Sheikh, Ambassador of Qatar to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer al-Thani and the Qatari embassy staff.
