Doha Festival City (DHFC) has now added a feather to its cap with the opening of the world’s largest Monoprix Hypermarket. The hypermarket offers more than 35,000 goods which is extended upto 7,000sqm retail space.
It is the second Monoprix outlet in the country and has a range of locally known brand. It also includes an authentic French bakery, MCrust, and ‘La Cave a Fromage’, stocked with finest international cheeses.
“After many months of anticipation, we are tremendously proud to finally welcome the public to our world-class destination and to Qatar’s largest Monoprix outlet,” DHFC general manager Trevor Hill said.
“Introducing some of the best names in leisure, retail and hospitality and this holistic mix is sure to become one of the must-visit destinations in Doha with the ultimate shopping experience,” he noted.
Customers have a variety of options, right from restaurants, to a dedicated candy section, clothing and electronics, kitchen gadgets and organic food items. The food is cooked right in front of the customers with fresh ingredients.
“We want the people of Qatar to experience the extraordinary world of Monoprix and enjoy every bit of it. This is not just a supermarket, it is a world of its own where you can shop, eat and unwind,” Monoprix’s regional general manager Sebastien Farhat said.
DHFC is the largest entertainment, retail and hospitality destination in Qatar is managed and operated by Al-Futtaim.
