The Met department of Qatar has issued safety precautions to the public as the temperatures gets higher with each passing day. The Met department said in a post on social media that the temperatures are expected to go up in most of the areas in coming days.
It also advised people to avoid outdoor activities and direct exposure to sunlight, asking people to wear lightweight, light coloured clothing to reflect the light. There was also a warning which asked people not to leave children alone in vehicles.
Today’s prediction tell that it will be hazy in some areas in the early hours before turning the temperatures high as the day progresses. The maximum temperature will likely be 39C in Doha and 38C in Al Khor.
