This Girl Was On The Way To Her Grandma’s When A Snake Appeared. What Happened Next Will Teach Everyone A Lesson!
Imagine walking to a place and suddenly a snake appears?
I would run for my life but this girl was compassionate and sweet.
This is a story of a girl who was traversing the mountain path when a snake appeared in front of her.
Before she could react, the snake opened its mouth and spoke to her, It said, “I am about to die. There is no food in these mountains, and I am starving.”
It continued, “Please, won’t you carry me to the other side of the mountain? It’s too cold for me up here, and I am freezing.”
The girl answered “no” and then said, “I know what you are. You’re a snake. You’re dangerous to me. And if I pick you up, you will bite me and your bite is probably poisonous.”
The girl continued on her path, down the mountainous route, but the snake slithered and followed her and requested, “Please, I’m a living creature. You can’t just let me die! If you help me, you will be my best friend. I will treat you differently.”
The words of the snake struck a chord with her, she stopped and considered what the snake said.
She had to admit it was the most beautiful snake she has ever encountered before.
After a moment, the girl said, “Do you promise not to bite me?”
“I promise,” the snake quickly replied.
Then the girl said, “Well, then, I guess it’s okay. I believe you. I will save you. All living things deserve to be treated with kindness.”
She bent down and then gently took the snake under her coat. She continued walking to her grandmother’s house.
But a few moments later, she was surprised that the snake turned warm. It began moving around inside her coat!
All of a sudden she felt a sharp sting and then realized that the snake bit her!
She cried. “How could you do this to me? You promised that you would not bite me, and I trusted you!”
The snake moved away from her and then retorted, “You knew what I was when you picked me up.” It hissed evilly.
It seemed as if the moral of the story was, you don’t have to trust anyone, no matter how kind or good your intentions might be.
The source cited, “Even great acts of kindness will not dissuade those with malicious intentions. A snake doesn’t have a conscience or morals like decent, God-fearing people.”
