Qatar Airways kicked off the opening of KidzMondo Doha’s interactive edutainment establishment on Wednesday. A special ceremony was held at the Kid-sized city at Mall of Qatar which was hosted by Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker and Ali Kazma, Chairman of Kidz Holding and Founder of the KidzMondo concept.
The event was attended by Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Ehab Amin; Badr al Meer, Chief Operating Officer of Hamad International Airport; Moutaz Al Khayyat, Group Chairman and President Power International Holding; Ramez Al Khayyat, Group CEO and Vice President of Power International Holding and Nabil Barakat, General Manager Aura Entertainment Services, alongside guests and media.
Children will get to experience the behind the scenes nature of work and also can role play as passengers and as airline staff within a specially designed aircraft model. They will have an opportunity to learn more about the cabin crew, safety standards, pilot and Qatar Airways cockpit.
A specially adapted real Qatar Airways aircraft will be set to stage both the passengers and staff. Al Baker, said: “It is our great pleasure to open these airline-inspired attractions to support and inspire our leaders of the future.”
Even passengers can get into the action as passengers and see their kids performing. The indoor theme park will allow children aged between two and fourteen to role play.
“Qatar Airways aircraft simulation at KidzMondo’s entrance, Qatar’s first edutainment city, will mark the beginning of every kid’s journey at KidzMondo and this will continue to tap into airline’s potential beyond its tourism and hospitality supremacy, in activating its role as a trusted partner in transforming the educational landscape in Qatar,” Ali Kazma said.
