The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) suggests all companies who operate under different names, to come forward and make adjustments in order to be exempted from fees.
If the company owners own the brand, they must verify their brand ownership or prove their right to use it for the non-owners, MEC explained in a statement on Wednesday.
MEC strives to support the companies in Qatar so they can contribute to the economic growth of the state in an offer to build a competitive, diversified and sustainable economy, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
According to MEC, if a company owns more than one branch, all the branches must carry the same brand name and take part in the same business activity.
The conditions of commercial registration can be adjusted by visiting the ministry and adding the activities or deleting them from their branches until the main company and its branches have the samle activities.
