Ayman Jahjah is a Syrian national who is a victim of Civil war in his homeland. The war with ISIS has affected his life in a big way as he lost many people and things.

Now, he has urged people of Philippines to support their President Rodrigo Duterte to prevent International terrorist group from capturing Mindanao.

It should be noted that the Maute group claimed their allegiance to ISIS before besieging Marawi City.

Ayman posted on Facebook:

“As a Syrian citizen who has lost many people and things in my home country, my advice to all people from the Philippines: Stand by your president. He is your best choice to make your country safe and strong.”

He went onto praise the President for his effort and his approach in countering terrorism.

President Duterte, said that some members have entered some areas of the country to teach extremism to youth. However, he made it clear he wouldn’t hesitate to put the whole country under martial law if needed.

“I may decide to expand the area to include the Visayas because it is just a walking distance actually. Because of the many islands, they can always escape there and begin another terroristic activity,” Duterte said in front of reporters.

“If I think that the ISIS has already taken foothold also in Luzon and terrorism is not really far behind, I might declare martial law throughout the country to protect the people,” Duterte added.
