A pregnant lady in San Antonio will surely have a story to tell for years after giving birth to her child in the restroom of popular food chain.
When Falon Griffin realized she was going into labor, she would have thought of welcoming her new born baby at the nearby University hospital. They were in fact on their way, but had to make a pit stop at a roadside Chick-Fil-A to meet their friends and send their older children off to stay elsewhere for the night.
They made arrangement for the children and was about to leave. But, Griffin had to use the restroom. It was late enough that the Chick-Fil-A was already closed, but the Giffins pounded on the door and begged the employees to let them in.
She just wanted to use the bathroom and go to the hospital. But, Chick-Fil-A store director Brenda Enriquez realized very quickly that baby Gracelyn had other plans in store for her family.
“I didn’t know I was going to have a baby in there! I was going to the restroom,” Falon Griffin said.
After grabbing some towels and calling 9-1-1, Enriquez said that she called for dad Robert and had him come in to help with the delivery. There, in the restroom of their family’s favorite restaurant, he helped his third daughter enter the world—even unwrapping the umbilical cord from around her neck before the paramedics arrived!
Baby Gracelyn will now have free Chick-Fil-A for life and also a guarantee of a job at the franchise when she’s old enough.
