Spanish Police Force A Man To Get The Fridge Back After He Foolishly Filmed Himself Pushing It Off The Cliff
It’s good when you see people paying the price for their mistakes and in this case the justice was served by cops which makes it even better.
Police in Spain forced a man who stupidly pushed a refrigerator off the cliff and even filmed it, to get it back. The video shows the man getting the fridge out of a van before he pushed it down the hill while his pal recorded the video.
“Recycling… Let’s recycle it,” he and his accomplice can be heard saying in Spanish as the appliance is tipped over.
“Let’s see how many flips it can do!”
The video which was apparently flimed in the southern Almeria, had the license plate of the van I clear view. It was shared on the social media by the Spanish Civil Guard – the Asociación Unificada de Guardias Civiles (AUGC) – who were eventually able to identify the man.
The reports said that the man worked in a company that distributes domestic appliances. He was fined €45,000 (£41,000; $50,000), and is currently under investigation.
That was not all the police even made the man to get it back from the bottom of the bill. As he struggled to get it back, the police made sure to film as they uploaded the footage on Twitter.
The AUGC told PA: “The investigation is still open, because the Civil Guard discovered that the company [the man works for] could also be committing a crime against nature.”
Police said the waste management company that employs the man could also face sanctions for failing to properly dispose of old refrigerators.
